Hi,

We have penetrating damp coming through the gable end of our end terrace property.

The cavity wall was filled with insulation, before our ownership. A builder up the road took a brick out for us and the fibre insulation is slightly damp.

It would be great to get your expertise to understand whether this insulation needs to be removed or whether rendering would solve this issue.

The ground floor is just painted brick but the first floor is rendered (there is some blown areas but the first floor is not the main problem).
