My rental property in Lurgan has damp in an upstairs bedroom and seems to be coming through the wall at the ceiling corner and across the rest of the ceiling edges and running down the wall. It is the end gable wall in a terraced house. We have had tiles replaced, ridge tiles replaced and repainted and some sort of silicone in the attic. However the problem is getting worse and black mould is growing and my tenant is constantly trying to clean it as it's really not good for health, especially in a child's room. Last October we replaced the fascia boards, gutters and downspouts. As a responsible landlord lord I need this fixed asap. Would damp proofing work? The tenant has applied under the warmer scheme to get the loft insulated and cavity walls too and then a new oil boiler as she fits into their eligibility criteria. If this something you could look at please let me know. I can send the most up to date photos if needed.Really need this repaired for her to make her home more comfortable. Many thanks
