We are creating a Round House for education purposes and we a looking for help with the thatch roof. Its approx a 5m2 area.

I have a stove need chimney cleaned

roof cleaning and repair if service available

Review of roof, and quote for repair work

Shed roof needs replacing as has been damaged. Two different shed roofing for replacing so they match.

Shed 1: 1.1m x 1.4m (slanted) etsimated
Shed 2: 2.2m x 1.3m estimated

Hi , Could you please give me a budget price to install a thatched roof to this property. It will only be to the front section of the building with the red tin roof (see photographs). The measurements of the building are 8m wide by 19m long.



The overhang of the roof on both sides was traditionally supported by 4 oak posts, that will be reinstated prior to the thatching works.



Please allow for the following:



Remove existing tin roof (no issue if you do not provide this service, it can be done by others prior to your arrival)
Water reed thatch
Closed roof
Fire Board
Fire retardant spray to the finish roof
Scaffolding (no issue if you do not provide this service, it can be done by others prior to your arrival)


I appreciate the final cost will be subject to site survey and design requirements of the roof.
