We have an excessive build up of condensation in the bedroom which is causing a humidity reading of 67% and also causing mould to build up. We experienced flooding over New Year. We have had the insurance contractor perform a strip out to aid the drying process and been advised that a salts test was done and nitrates were found indicating rising damp. This is not covered under the insurance claim so I am looking for someone to advise on work required before any repairs are undertaken.
