I have had a single storey extension built 6 years ago. There was an issue picked up on final sign off by Aedis (smoke alarm issue) this was rectified, however Aedis went bust and didn't complete sign off.
I carried out the reversion back to the council however, covid then took hold and it never got signed off.

I reapplied to the council and they visited 3 weeks ago. They have asked I get a structural engineer to review the extension before they sign it off.

Hope someone can help!

Structural/technical drawings for existing planning permission.

Survey and report on foundations for a small porch but we have a council owned tree in front of the house over 4 metres away

Dormer loft conversion to Victorian end of terrace house

We have got designs drawn up from another architect and have approved planning. We are now at the point modifing the existing plans after having a topo survey. Our existing architect has just informed us he has ceased trading. Plans now need to be submitted to sips manufacturers.

GENERAL
- [ ] More natural light, especially on top floor
- [ ] Better lighting scheme in areas where natural light is not possible (e.g. downstairs hall)
- [ ] Shorter hall on first floor

DOWNSTAIRS
Front Room 1
- [ ] Remove top unit of fireplace/ replace fireplace if needed
- [ ] Move radiator next to fire to under windows
- [ ] Half shutters on the window that fold to the side
- [ ] Install new gas fire
- [ ] Build cupboard and shelving to the left of the fire
- [ ] Install wall mouldings
- [ ] Build out adjoining wall, create an opening and add pocket doors OR consider internal windows to let the light through to the back room
- [ ] Build hidden drinks cabinet into left hand side of pocket doors
