Hi , Could you please give me a budget price to install a thatched roof to this property. It will only be to the front section of the building with the red tin roof (see photographs). The measurements of the building are 8m wide by 19m long.



The overhang of the roof on both sides was traditionally supported by 4 oak posts, that will be reinstated prior to the thatching works.



Please allow for the following:



Remove existing tin roof (no issue if you do not provide this service, it can be done by others prior to your arrival)
Water reed thatch
Closed roof
Fire Board
Fire retardant spray to the finish roof
Scaffolding (no issue if you do not provide this service, it can be done by others prior to your arrival)


I appreciate the final cost will be subject to site survey and design requirements of the roof.

We have damp issues in a dormer roof and would like it assessed and quote for relevant repairs please.

Fascia replacement on our detached bungalow (which has aloft conversion). Currently our wooden boards have flaking/rotten areas and some holes in them (definite birds seen at times) therefore I think a whole replacement is needed.

Tile repaired/replacement. Slipped during previous adverse weather. Now discovered potential leak on top room ceiling.
