We have an issue with a damp wall by the front of our property. The damp is at the bottom of one wall coming out above our skirting board next to the front door of the house. There is also green mould starting to grow around it.

On the external wall where the moisture is present internally we have a gas box. I have tried re-pointing some of the brick work as well as sealing around the box and also moving the box away from the wall but none of these solutions seems to have helped the issue.

We have only been at the property for close to two years but it appears from the eternal drill markings that a previous owner has applied a damp proof course to the front wall already.
