we've got a minor issue in the ceiling of spare room that has gradually got worse over the 4 years that we have lived in the property that we need to address (pics can be provided)
we're in a 1920's terraced property on ash grove, chinley, ***.
we have been advised that there are no issues with any loose tiles in the roof and therefore don't know where the problem is coming from.
is just a case of re-plastering and putting some damp proofing in?
can you prepare a quote with timescales to rectify this issue?
we want to re-decorate but not until this issue has been fixed.

Damp diagnosis and likely fix.

We're looking to get a quote for some work to rectify some issues with damp.
The damp proof course at the front of the property is too low and we believe that this is causing penetrating damp around the front door.
There is also damp coming in around a juliet door on the first floor at the back of the property, we think this is due to worn brick work and possibly failure of the waterproofing around the door seals.
We would like to know more about we can rectify these issues and the costs of this work,
