We are purchasing a 1970s detached house with limited plug per room, we have had an electrician out to confirm we do not require a rewire (fuse box has recently been replaced and we are waiting on certification from seller). We will not be living in the house initially as it needs heating installed/redecoration, so work can be carried out without our possessions/us there.

We are looking for the following:
Lounge
• Additional 3 x double plugs
• Disconnect electric storage heater.

Kitchen
• Cupboards under stairs will be opened out, need double plug at counter top height and a single plug underneath for washing machine
• Additional 3 x double plugs
• Additional single plug in space under sink for dishwasher
• We don’t think there is an isolation switch for the extractor fan and oven, might need adding?
• Change pendant light to 8 spotlights or spotlight bar
• Disconnect storage heater
• Emersion heater in tank to be disconnected (will be removed by heating engineers)

Entryway
• Disconnect storage heater
• Move light switch for entryway nearer front door, and connect to an outside light

Outside
• Motion light at rear (with switch in kitchen)
• Motion light at side (with switch in entryway)
• Outside waterproof plug

Bathroom
• Change pendant light to 4 spotlights
• Disconnect electric heater, to be replaced with extractor fan
• Pull cord to control extractor fan
• Light switch outside bathroom, isolation switch for fan and shower above door.
• Electrics for a shower

Landing
• Disconnect a mystery box (we have no idea what it is or does)

Loft
• Electrics for a light

Spare bedroom
• Remove mystery switch (?)
• Convert two single plugs to double plug
• Add in an additional double plug

Office
• Additional two double plugs
• Convert a single plug to a double plug

Main bedroom
• Remove mystery cable (?)
• Convert a single plug to a double plug
• Additional two double plugs and one single plug
• Move pendant light to be more central/add a second pendant light

new build, log burner to be fitted.
