Conditions of use
LeadsDoWork is an introduction and quotation service that helps connect homeowners and businesses with independent contractors who may be interested in providing quotes for their work.
For people requesting quotes, our service is free to use. For contractors, we offer the opportunity to receive homeowner and business enquiries in their chosen geographical areas.
Our system is designed to be flexible, with options that allow contractors to decide when they want enquiries, where they want them, and how many they wish to receive.
A straightforward way to receive new enquiries
Traditional advertising can be expensive, difficult to measure and time-consuming to manage. LeadsDoWork offers contractors an alternative way to receive enquiries from people actively looking for quotes in their area.
We aim to send relevant enquiries based on the trade type, location and details submitted by the customer. Contractors can then decide whether the opportunity is suitable for their business.
We do not guarantee the number of enquiries, conversion rates, customer availability or the outcome of any introduction, but we aim to provide a practical and efficient way for contractors to connect with potential customers.
Where do we source our enquiries?
This is a common question from contractors. We generate enquiries through our consumer platform, Local-Quotes.co.uk, and through a wider network of websites and marketing channels covering a range of home improvement and business-related services.
We may also work with partner websites, specialist online publishers and other third-party sources to help attract people who are actively looking for quotes and contractor services.
How our service works
Customers submit details about the work they are looking to have carried out, including the type of project, location and contact details. We then use that information to match the enquiry with independent contractors who may be relevant for that type of work and area.
Our role is limited to introducing potential customers and contractors. We do not carry out the work, supervise projects, negotiate contracts, or act as an agent for either party. Any agreement for goods or services is made directly between the customer and the contractor.
Important information for customers and contractors
Information shown on our platform or provided to us about contractors may include business details, service areas, qualifications, memberships, accreditations, insurance information, reviews and similar profile information. This information may be supplied by contractors or third parties, and while we aim to keep it reasonably up to date, we do not guarantee that it is always accurate, complete or current.
Nothing on our website or in our service should be taken as a recommendation, endorsement, certification or guarantee of any contractor’s suitability, competence, creditworthiness or workmanship. Customers should always carry out their own checks before appointing any contractor, including confirming qualifications, experience, insurance cover, guarantees and terms directly with that contractor.
Any contract for works, goods or services is between the customer and the contractor they choose. LeadsDoWork is not responsible for the pricing agreed, the quality of workmanship, the timing of the works, or any act or omission of any third-party contractor introduced through our platform.
