to the right of the door high damp readings were recorded and the patching on the wall appears to indicate that damp is present. on the outside there is an air vent which has probably been inserted to try and air the wall. it is possible that the damp-proof course is defective in this area or does not exist. it is recommended that a damp specialist undertake a survey to establish the extent of the damp and give recommendation for repairs
